These terms govern all driver training services provided by Novack Driving Academy Sdn. Bhd. (Reg. No. 202101033218 (1428815-P)), of No. 27-1, Jalan SS15/4B, 47500 Subang Jaya, Selangor ("the Academy"). By booking a lesson or purchasing a package, you accept them. They are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
1. Eligibility
Practical lessons on public roads require a valid Malaysian L license (or a license/permit that legally allows supervised driving). It is your responsibility to hold the correct document and bring it to every lesson; an instructor must decline a road lesson if you cannot present it, and the hour will be counted.
2. Bookings and Punctuality
- Lessons are booked by phone, WhatsApp or the website form and confirmed by the Academy in writing (message or email).
- A lesson hour begins at the agreed pickup time. If you are late, the lost time comes out of your hour; after 20 minutes without contact the lesson is treated as a late cancellation.
- You may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the lesson. Inside 24 hours, the hour is deducted from your package or charged at the single-hour rate.
- If the Academy must cancel — instructor illness, vehicle fault, severe weather — you lose nothing: the hour is re-credited and rebooked at your convenience with priority.
3. Safety Rules
- Instructors hold full authority over the vehicle during lessons and may use the dual controls at any time.
- Lessons will not proceed if the student appears to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication that impairs driving. The hour is forfeited in such cases.
- Closed-toe footwear is required. Phone use while driving ends the exercise immediately.
- An instructor may end a lesson early if the student's conduct endangers anyone; the Academy will review every such case before deciding whether the hour is charged.
4. Vehicles and Insurance
All training vehicles are maintained, roadworthy and insured for driving instruction. You are not liable for vehicle damage occurring during a properly conducted lesson while following instructor guidance. Deliberate misuse of the vehicle against explicit instruction may make you liable for the insurance excess.
5. Fees and Payment
- Package prices include the vehicle, fuel, insurance and pickup within our published coverage areas. Prices current at booking apply for the life of that package.
- Payment is accepted by bank transfer, Touch 'n Go eWallet or cash, against a receipt.
- Package hours are valid for six months from purchase. Extensions for medical or compassionate reasons are granted on request with reasonable evidence.
- Refunds are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.
6. Test-Day Services
Where a package includes JPJ test-day car rental and accompaniment, the Academy provides the vehicle and instructor presence. Test outcomes are decided solely by JPJ examiners; no package constitutes a guarantee of passing.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Malaysian law. Beyond that, the Academy's total liability for any claim connected to training services is capped at the amount you paid for the package concerned. The Academy is not responsible for indirect losses such as missed work or travel arrangements caused by lesson rescheduling.

9. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms for future bookings. The version in force when you purchased your package continues to apply to that package.
